What results do real clients actually get with Julie Salter Fitness?

I would rather show you what clients wrote, in public, in their own words, than tell you what to think. Read these the way you would read them anywhere else: one experience at a time.

The short answer

Every quote on this page is an independently published Trustpilot review, quoted exactly as the client wrote it. No client is paid to review, and nothing was edited. Results vary from person to person. What you will see across them: clients eating more, getting stronger, and staying long enough for it to hold.

How to read these reviews

Unedited. Each card is a contiguous run of sentences from one review, with the client's own punctuation, capitalization, and typos left alone. Where two runs from the same review are joined, you will see three dots.

First names only, as each client published them on Trustpilot.

Individual experiences. Where a client states a number, an age, or a timeline, that card carries the line "Individual experiences vary. Results are not typical or guaranteed." Where a client says how long she has worked with me, we kept that sentence. No review names a coaching tier, so this page does not assign one.

Julie replies publicly. I answer reviews under my own name, and two of those replies are quoted on this page. No client is paid for a review.

Where most of them start

What happens when you eat more instead of less?

Most women who find me have spent years eating less and getting less back. Fewer calories, fewer results, more starting over every Monday.

Most programs focus on restriction. I don't. The first thing many clients notice is that the plan asks them to eat more than they were, on purpose, and slowly.

"The goal was never to eat as little as you can stand. It was to eat enough that the plan holds on a Tuesday, in your real life."

Barbara writes that she has worked with me for a few years. Her review describes what the first stretch felt like from the inside. Amanda came from years of diets and gym trainers that gave her just enough to see a difference and not enough to keep it.

From a client
"I was surprised with how quickly I lost weight while eating more food in a day than I normally did. Turns out I was consistently under eating and all the foods I ate just got stored as fat. She upped my calories slowly to get me used to eating the calorie amount I should be at and I somehow lost 20 lbs in the first few months while doing it."

Individual experiences vary. Results are not typical or guaranteed.

From a client
"With previous diets I felt like I was going without things I wanted, but with Julie's help I can literally have whatever I want. I feel so free and have developed a better relationship with food thanks to her."
Amanda, via Trustpilot

When I replied to Barbara on Trustpilot, I put it this way: "It's not about NEVER having foods you love, it's about having them in a way that makes sense for you."

If you suspect you have been eating too little for too long, the signs most women miss are in this article: are you not eating enough?

The ordinary weeks

What does the support actually feel like week to week?

Results are the end of the story. The middle is a lot of ordinary weeks: a check-in, a message, an adjustment, another week.

"Support is not a feature on a pricing table. It is whether someone real reads your check-in and answers."

The coaching plans include check-ins with me, and Elite adds a weekly 1:1 Zoom call. What that feels like from the client's side is not mine to describe, so here is how four clients described it. The plan-by-plan comparison is at compare coaching plans.

From a client
"Constant and consistent feedback. She's a real person giving real advice and review of what I'm doing. She's an accountability buddy and a kick in the butt."
Sarah, via Trustpilot
From a client
"I started working with her way back in 2021 and always came back to her. She doesn't treat you like just a client or a paycheck. She truly cares about your health. ... She is knowledgeable, passionate, kind, understanding, and always and I mean always a text away."
Claudia, via Trustpilot
From a client
"We do our weekly check-ins and follow ups on what changes need to made or not. Communication is key and Julie is on point if I have questions."
Tabatha, via Trustpilot
From a client
"I have had the honor of working with Julie not once, but twice! ... She takes the time to get to know each individual client and customizes their plan to fit their body, lifestyle, and personal needs."
Nascha, via Trustpilot

My reply to Sarah on Trustpilot is the whole philosophy in one line: "It's not about perfection, it's about always showing up."

Different entry points

Does this work at 50, 60, or after a baby?

Somewhere after thirty, your body changes the rules. I teach women the new ones. That line is on my homepage because the most common worry in an application is some version of: am I too old for this, or too far from where I used to be?

Dianna filled out the intake form anyway. Beth started eight months postpartum.

Neither of them got a different program from a different coach. They got the same four layers, biology, behavior, belief, and bandwidth, built around a different life. (How the 4B Approach works.)

"Age and life stage change the plan. They do not change whether there is a plan for you."

From a client
"I remember thinking, I'm old (62 at the time) she probable doesn't work with old ladies. But I got the courage to fill out the intake form, and she accepted me and assured me that she works with people of all ages."

From a client
"This isn't a quick fix; it's a foundation for lifelong success. I'm currently 8 months postpartum, and since starting, I've lost 25 pounds and 32 inches overall."

Stronger, not just smaller

Can I get stronger, not just smaller?

Smaller is a number. Stronger is the groceries in one trip, getting up off the floor without a hand, keeping up on the trip you planned. I call that Future Freedom, and it is why every plan I write includes training that builds you instead of draining you.

"You do not have to choose between a smaller body and a stronger one. If you had to, I would pick stronger every time."

Andrea came ready to build muscle and afraid to do it alone. Hannah came for energy and confidence. Michael came with a schedule that no off-the-shelf program fit.

From a client
"I was ready for muscle gains but I was afraid to do it alone, afraid to ruin all my hard work. This is a common fear for women. ... She has me eating a ton, working out efficiently, and has kept the entire journey incredibly lighthearted for me ... I'm active duty Navy, 15+ years, and within 3 months of training with Julie I scored the best physical fitness score of my entire career."

From a client
"Since working with her, I have more energy, more confidence, and actually look forward to my workouts."
Hannah, via Trustpilot
From a client
"For me it was my schedule, so she built a plan that fit into my busy life, and included ideas of what macro goals I should have and how they play a role in weight loss and overall health!"
Michael, via Trustpilot

The long haul

What do the people who know Julie best say?

The hardest client to coach is someone who has known you your whole life. My sister Lisa has been a client since the beginning, and she says so herself, in public.

Raquel has been with me for a little over a year, by her own count. Long-term clients are the honest test of a coaching approach, because the newness wore off a long time ago.

"A coach who has been there is worth something. A coach whose own sister is still a client is worth more."

From a client
"I've been with Julie since day 1. She has helped me to lose over 80 lbs. Yes, I'm her sister, but I think that makes me an even more difficult client to work with IMO."
Lisa, via Trustpilot

Individual experiences vary. Results are not typical or guaranteed.

From a client
"We've been working together for a little over a year and Ive not only achieved the goals I wanted and seen results but I also have learned the hows and why's to be able to eventually do things on my own."
Raquel, via Trustpilot

As for me: I lost 70 pounds and I've kept it off for over 4 years. The whole story is at about the CEO.

The honest gap

Where are the before-and-after photos and case studies?

Not on this page yet, and I would rather tell you why than fake it.

A real case study needs three things: the client's written consent, her photos, and a timeline she has checked herself. I am gathering those one client at a time, with written permission for each, and they will be published here as they are ready. Nothing on this page will ever be a stock photo with a number under it.

"The best proof I can give you today is unedited, public, and written by people I do not pay."

Until the documented stories are ready, two things you can read right now. First, the reviews above in full, on Trustpilot. Second, the one story I can document completely, because it is mine: 70 pounds lost and kept off for over four years, at about the CEO.

Julie Salter, who lost 70 pounds and has kept it off for over four years, the one client story on this page she can document from start to finish.
Questions women ask

What else do people ask about these reviews?

Are these reviews real, and can I check them myself?

Yes. Every one of them was written and published by the client on the public Trustpilot profile for Julie Salter Fitness. Nothing on this page was written by me or edited by me. You can open the profile and read each review in full, including the parts I did not quote.

Was anyone paid, comped, or discounted for a review?

No. No client quoted here was paid, given free coaching, or given a discount in exchange for a review. I ask the same way anyone does, after someone tells me the work helped.

Why do some quotes carry a line about results not being typical?

Because that client stated a number, an age, or a timeline. Those are her results, in her life, with her starting point. They are not a promise about yours, and I will not present them as one.

Which coaching plan did each of these clients use?

No review names a plan, so this page does not assign one. If you want to know what changes between the App, Foundation, Elite, and Build Your Own, the side-by-side comparison is at compare coaching plans.

One clear next step

So what should I actually do?

Read the reviews in full. Then pick the pieces that fit your life, and let the price move with you.

I personally review every single application. Take your time. There's zero pressure or rushed sales tactics.
